Handok and Dr. Diary, a digital healthcare startup, have joined hands to seek “digital transition in chronic disease management.”

On April 5, 2023, Handok and Dr. Diary signed an agreement on equity investment and strategic partnership for management of chronic disease at Handok’s headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. The two companies will utilize their respective digital platforms and products, business experience and capabilities related to chronic disease to create public value in non-medical areas.

Handok and Dr. Dairy will collaborate on digital healthcare services for the management of diabetes, a major chronic disease. Through this, they will build a digital healthcare ecosystem that contributes to more active prevention and management of diabetes, which has been increasing in recent years, as well as promote customized healthcare services and improvement of healthcare quality. Handok and Dr. Dairy plan to build a healthcare service using digital technology for connection to primary healthcare institutions to provide patients with more customized care. This will enable more customized planning and monitoring of patient healthcare using digital technology and data to help medical staff better manage patients health and to help patients improve their lifestyles.
