Handok (Chairman & CEO Young-jin Kim, Vice President Jin-ki Paik) was awarded the Best HRD Award in the private sector and Best Solutions Award at the 2020 Korea HRD Awards held at the Korea Federation of Textile Industries in Samseong-dong, Seoul on November 25, 2020. It was the first private company to win prizes in two sectors at the same time.

The Korea HRD Awards is the most prestigious award in Korea’s human resources development (HRD) sector. The Korea HRD Association established the award to emphasize the importance of human resources development and expand horizons in 1995 and has since awarded the annual prize to companies and educational institutes, among others, that have contributed to the development of domestic HRD and promotion of education and culture.

Handok’s acclaimed people-centered corporate culture, practice of going beyond education and producing results, corporate culture of sustainable growth, and pioneering transformational management were among the reasons it earned this Best HRD Award. In addition, “Handok Touch Play” was recognized as an excellent vocational experience platform tailored to the digital environment and was awarded the Best Solutions Award for Education. Handok Touch Play is an integrated mobile platform for sales education. Anyone, not only educational providers, can create educational content and share it on the platform, making it accessible to anyone anywhere.

“Handok regards people as its greatest asset and is committed to achieving joint growth of individuals and the company,” said Handok CEO Young-jin Kim. He added, “The education we are providing does not end in a day. We are creating a corporate culture where every employee understands the goals of the company, plans their own development, and continuously studies and learns.”
