Human Cultural Assets Conservation Campaign in collaboration with Cult
Handok Pharmaceuticals begins Human Cultural Assets Conservation Campaign in collaboration with Cultural Heritage Administration
August 31, 2010
Handok Pharmaceuticals and the Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea together are launching a Human Cultural Assets Conservation campaign. The joint initiative will provide free medical checkups for people deemed to possess important intangible cultural heritage skills and talents who are at risk for various chronic diseases due to old age.
This program is designed to support the continuation and development of traditional Korean culture by taking care of the health of “human cultural assets”. The Human Cultural Assets Conservation Campaign will benefit persons who are designated human cultural assets aged between 50 and 75. These assets will receive comprehensive medical checkups and routine monitoring sponsored by Handok Pharmaceuticals. This collaboration is part of Handok’s continuing efforts to serve society by promoting and engaging in corporate social responsibility activities.
